Where do we draw the line?

This question has been plaguing me for awhile now and I still don't have an answer. So friends, at what point do you think Patriotism turns into sin? I'm not saying that I think war is always wrong or always right. I'm just asking for your point of view.

I know this is an older post but my belief is that the Patriotism becomes a sin when you would rather be patriot than a Christian. I know that sounds vague but I know several people who claim to be Christian and then go on to say, "F*** all of the world, America is the best, we need to kill all *Insert enemy*. I would do anything for my country!"

Although if you would like a more extreme answer then I would say when we pledge allegiance because in that moment we are pledging our hearts to the country, which is putting other idols before God.

:) If this was a rhetorical question then I am truly sorry for responding.
